Improving Educational Opportunities in Somaliland

One of my clients is the Abaarso School, a co-ed 7th-12th grade school located in Somaliland. Abaarso is dedicated to preparing a new generation of Somali youth to repair their war-torn country. These students have repeatedly shown that brilliance knows no borders as over 80 alumni have recently been admitted or are currently attending top international boarding schools and universities like Harvard, Yale, Brown and MIT.

One of the projects I helped them with was a "friend-raising" event, which I produced and included a panel of Abaarso alumni. These students and all those I've had the chance to meet are truly inspirational. Learn more about Abaarso here.
